Touching story:  Kearen Pan will re-run her touching one-actor play Laugh Me to the Moon in September.

Touching play to encore

July 22, 2011
Kearen Pang, one of the most gifted and sought-after theatre actresses in Hong Kong, will re-run her touching one-actor play Laugh Me to the Moon in September.

Based on Pang's short tales of growing up, Laugh Me to the Moon tells of a disillusioned primary school teacher who tries to reconnect with her childhood dreams by entering a stand-up comedy contest.

Laugh Me to the Moon is Pang's third one-actor play and is an exquisite story with rich stage visual effects, highly appreciated by local theatre critics at its premiere.

Laugh Me to the Moon will be performed in Cantonese at 8pm on September 2 and 3pm on September 3 at Kwai Tsing Theatre, and at 8pm on September 10 at Yuen Long Theatre.

Tickets ranging from $120 to $240 are now available at URBTIX. A post-performance talk conducted in Cantonese will be held on September 10.
