Music prodigies team for 2 shows

Four young musical talents from around the world - Alexander Prior (UK), Simone Porter (US), Nathan Chan (US) and Aristo Sham (Hong Kong) - will join the City Chamber Orchestra for two July shows.
 
The quartet were featured in the Channel 4 documentary The World's Greatest Musical Prodigies.
 
Prior is a conductor-composer, Porter a violinist, Chan a cellist and Sham a pianist.
 
They will perform excerpts from solo concertos, and the world premiere of Prior’s triple concerto for violin, cello, piano and chamber orchestra. They will also share their experiences as young stars of the classical stage with radio personality Jonathan Douglas.
 
The shows will be held at 7.30pm on July 29 at Sha Tin Town Hall, and July 30 at Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Tickets are available at URBTIX. For programme enquiries call 2370 1044.
