Water samples taken from two New Territories kindergartens have been found to exceed the World Health Organisation lead limit.
The three tainted samples were among 36 taken from 21 kindergartens.
They came from the taps of wall-mounted water dispensers at St Thomas' Catholic Kindergarten in Kwai Tsing and Yuen Long Church Long Ping Estate Chan Kwong Kindergarten.
The water in the dispensers is for drinking by staff and students.
The Department of Health will arrange blood tests for two pregnant teachers, one lactating teacher and 762 students.
More than 900 drinking water samples have been taken for testing from 381 kindergartens, and 21 public sector and direct subsidy scheme primary and secondary schools built with government funding since 2005.
Except for the seven samples from wall-mounted dispensers at five kindergartens with lead content exceeding the WHO limit, all drinking water samples have met the guideline.
