HK wins 6 maths medals

Hong Kong has scored its best result at the International Mathematical Olympiad, with its team of secondary school students winning two gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
The gold medallists were Ching Tak-wing from Queen’s College and Li Yau-wing from Ying Wa College. It was Ching's third gold in as many years in the event.
Lo Chun-tung of King’s College won silver, while the bronze medallists were Chow Chi-hong from Bishop Hall Jubilee School, Tam Ka-yu from Queen’s College and Wo Bar-wai of La Salle College.
The event was held from July 16 to 24 in Amsterdam, with Hong Kong ranking 14th of 101 teams.
