The Labour Department provides training and employment services, manages risks to people's safety and health at work, fosters harmonious labour relations, and improves and safeguards employees' rights and benefits in an equitable manner.
The Labour Department will hold a two-day job fair at Sha Tin Town Hall on November 25 and 26, offering more than 3,200 vacancies.
A total of 42 organisations will take part, with the first day offering jobs mostly in the retail, property management and transport industries. The second day will see jobs in the hospitality and catering industries.
About 76% of the vacancies offered are full-time jobs and the majority offer monthly salaries ranging from $6,000 to $10,000. About 70% do not require experience.
The job fair will be held from 11am to 5.30pm at the Exhibition Gallery, 1/F Sha Tin Town Hall.
