Police are investigating a murder-suicide case in Sha Tin in which a 60-year-old man and his 53-year-old wife died.
Just after 2pm, a 24-year-old man called Police to report that his father had tried to commit suicide in a flat at No. 2 18 Lok King Street. Police officers found his wife unconscious inside the flat with bruises on her neck, near a basin with burnt charcoal. She was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital, where she was certified dead at 2.56pm.
The husband was found lying unconscious on the podium and certified dead at the scene. He is believed to have fallen from height.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted tomorrow to determine how they died
