New Wan Chai pier to open

The new Wan Chai Ferry Pier will open on August 30, the Transport Department announced today.
 
The existing Wan Chai (East) Ferry Pier will be demolished to make way for the Wan Chai Development Phase II Project.
 
The Wan Chai to Tsim Sha Tsui ferry service will berth at the new pier from that date.
 
It can be accessed via the covered walkway east of the existing pier.
 
The ferry operator has posted notices and is making announcements to inform commuters of the relocation.
