The wording of 26 road signs in eastern Kowloon has changed from "Kwun Tong Industrial Area" to "Kwun Tong Business Area", the Development Bureau announced today.
 
The works were completed last month.
 
The updated signs reflect the transforming of eastern Kowloon into Hong Kong's alternative central business district.
 
As part of its efforts to facilitate the long-term development of the Energising Kowloon East plan, the bureau’s Energising Kowloon East Office has been implementing traffic improvement measures in the area since its inauguration.
