Secretary for Home Affairs Lau Kong-wah today congratulated Hong Kong snooker players Jaique Ip and Cheung Ka-wai for winning the Mixed Pairs category in the 2016 World Ladies Snooker Championship in the UK.
"Jaique Ip and Cheung Ka-wai teamed up for the first time and the young duo ranked top and won the world championship,” Mr Lau said.
“We are all delighted with their outstanding performance and their achievements has started a new page for the development of snooker in Hong Kong."
