The Centre for Health Protection has learned of a human case of avian influenza A(H5N6) in Shenzhen.

The 26-year-old woman lives in Bao'an and is in a critical condition in hospital.

The centre reminded people not to visit live poultry markets and farms and to avoid contact with poultry, birds and their droppings.
