The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 59-year-old man.
                                                 
                                                He fell ill with a fever, cough and shortness of breath on April 6 and was admitted to a private hospital yesterday. 
                                                 
                                                He tested positive for Legionnaires' disease and is now in a stable condition. 
                                                 
                                                The man had travelled to Panyu in Guangdong from April 2 to 5. His home and travel contacts are asymptomatic.
                                                 
                                                It is the eighth case reported this year. There were 41 cases last year and 28 cases in 2013.
