Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing continued his visit in Incheon, Korea, and visited Hong Kong athletes in the 17th Asian Games athletes' village today.
During the meeting, Mr Tsang encouraged the athletes to strive for the best results and take part in exchanges with other delegations' representatives to broaden their horizons. He also took the opportunity to learn about the supporting arrangements for the athletes.
He watched events in which Hong Kong athletes were taking part, including swimming and squash.
This year the Hong Kong delegation comprises a record-breaking 472 athletes, taking part in 31 events.
In the evening, Mr Tsang will leave for Seoul to meet with officials responsible for cultural, sports and youth matters.
