Prof Ma Ching-yung has been reappointed Chairman of the Expert Committee on Food Safety, and serving member Prof Chen Zhen-yu has been appointed Vice-Chairman.
Five new members have been appointed, while 13 incumbent members have been reappointed.
The new members are Dr Lawrence Chan, Prof Leo Sin, Prof Chris Wong, Dr Raymond Wong and Prof Steve Hathaway.
All appointments are for two years from September 15.
Thanking outgoing members for their efforts, Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man said he looks forward to the new and reappointed members' contribution to the committee.
