The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department today urged consumers to stop using Siemens tumble dryers with the model number: WTXL2100EU, and batch numbers: FD8201 to FD8205, that were sold in Hong Kong from January to October 2002. 

The faulty dryers pose a safety risk because they may overheat and catch fire.
