Two beaches rated 'good'

The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at two beaches 'good' and two 'fair', which are open year-round for swimming.
 
Clear Water Bay Second Beach and Deep Water Bay Beach are rated ‘good’; Golden Beach and Silverstrand Beach have been downgraded from ‘good to ‘fair’.
 
People are advised not to swim at closed beaches, and to avoid swimming at beaches for up to three days after a storm or heavy rainfall.
