Jelly samples pass tests

The Customs & Excise Department has tested turtle jelly products, and confirmed that all 29 samples contained turtle constituents.
 
Last month, the department collected samples of turtle herbal jelly, turtle herbal essence and gummy products from different brands throughout the city for Government Laboratory testing. 
 
The laboratory used DNA testing to ensure the samples contained the ingredients as claimed by the products' makers.
