Man ill with Legionnaires' disease

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 70-year-old man.
He was admitted to United Christian Hospital on March 26 and tested positive for Legionella bacteria. He was discharged on April 5.
He has no recent travel history and his family contacts have no symptoms.
It is the fourth case reported to the centre this year. There were 28 cases filed in 2012, and 17 in 2011.
