The delegation of the Tiangong-1/Shenzhou-9 manned space mission arrived in Hong Kong today to start a four-day visit.
They were welcomed by Chief Secretary Carrie Lam and Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong Peng Qinghua, and other officials.
Two-hundred students greeted the delegation, presenting bouquets to its leader and the three astronauts.
The delegation will meet the media this afternoon, and attend a welcome dinner hosted by the Hong Kong Government in the Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The 40-member troop includes the key commanders and planners of the space programme.
