July 11, 2012
The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported case of severe paediatric enterovirus infection involving three siblings.
A five-year-old girl and her two brothers, both aged seven, tested positive for enterovirus, but negative for enterovirus-71.
The three live on the Mainland. They fell ill on July 1 and travelled to Hong Kong for treatment on July 4.
They were admitted to the Adventist Hospital. They are in stable condition.
