The public swimming pool monthly ticket scheme will start tomorrow, giving swimmers unlimited admission during the one-month validity period at 40 pools managed by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department.
The scheme has been well received by the elderly, with more 60% of the 5,400 tickets sold so far going to people aged 60 or more since sales started on June 21.
The monthly ticket $300. Swimmers aged 60 or above, the disabled and their minders, children aged three to 13, and full-time students can enjoy a half-rate concession.
Ticket holders are required to also produce their identity document for verification before entering a pool facility.
