Summer music workshops registration starts

The Summer Music Workshops - First Music Lessons organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department Music Office has opened for applications. Children aged 4 to 6 who have not received any music training are welcome to apply. The deadline for application is June 4.
 
The workshops will be held from July 3 to August 29 at 15 venues throughout the territory. Children aged 4 to 6 who have not received any music training are welcome to apply. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
 
The five sessions will be conducted in Cantonese. Children will be introduced to Chinese and Western orchestral instruments, as well as basic music knowledge on music notes and rhythms. The tuition fee is $200.
 
Those who attend all five workshops will be given a certificate of attendance and be invited to join one of the musical instrument demonstration sessions to be held on August 30 and 31.
