Man critical with Legionnaires' disease

The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed a case of Legionnaires' disease involving an 80-year-old man.
 
He fell ill on April 17 and went to Queen Elizabeth Hospital after having a fall at home on April 26.
 
He tested positive for the Legionella bacteria. He is now in critical condition.
 
He has no recent travel history. His home contacts are asymptomatic.
