Outbreak closes Sha Tin school

The Centre for Health Protection has told the SA Wo Che Nursery School in Sha Tin to close, following an outbreak of hand, foot and mouth disease.
 
Six boys and seven girls, aged two to six, have developed symptoms since April 10. None required hospitalisation. All are in stable condition.
 
Classes will be suspended until May 8 so a thorough disinfection can be conducted.
