20 ill in school flu outbreak

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating into an influenza-like illness outbreak at a secondary school in Sheung Shui, affecting 20 students aged 13 to 16.
 
The 10 boys and 10 girls developed respiratory tract infection symptoms, including fever, cough and sore throat, since April 16.
 
None required hospitalisation. All are in stable condition.
 
The centre’s staff have visited the school and provided health advice to the management.
