20 treated for upper respiratory infection
September 19, 2011
Twenty students from a Southern District kindergarten have been treated for upper respiratory tract infection, the Centre for Health Protection said today.
The nine boys and 11 girls, aged three to five, have come down with a fever, cough, runny nose and sore throat since September 10. None required hospitalisation. They are stable.
The centre's staff have conducted a site visit and provided health advice to the kindergarten. The school has been put under medical surveillance.
