Macau to host three-way health meeting

Key medical and public health officials and professionals from Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau will attend the 11th tripartite meeting on the prevention and control of infectious diseases to be held in Macau tomorrow and Friday.
 
During the two-day meeting, experts from the three places will review the latest situation of communicable diseases, the prevention and control of scarlet fever, anti-microbial resistance, laboratory surveillance of infectious diseases and have exchanges in laboratory technology.
 
Led by Director of Health Dr PY Lam, the Hong Kong delegation will comprise representatives from the Department of Health and the Hospital Authority.
 
Guangdong’s Department of Health Associate Director Huang Fei and Macau’s Health Bureau Director Dr Lei Chin Ion will lead the two other delegations.
