The Centre for Food Safety has detected a plasticiser in a sample of King of Fruits (Super Brand) lychee pulp concentrated juice.
 
The Taiwanese product was collected from a local frozen confection factory.
 
The centre has ordered the trade to stop using the concerned batch of juice, which has an expiration date of August 4.
 
No consignment of the batch was found when the centre conducted follow-up investigations with the supplier.
 
Six other kinds of King of Fruits juice were all satisfactory.
