HK wins 6 more medals

Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing has hailed Hong Kong athletes for winning one gold, four silver and one bronze medals at the Guangzhou Asian Para Games today.
 
Hui Charn-hung and Tam Chik-sum won gold and silver in the men’s wheelchair fencing individual sabre category B.
 
Wheelchair fencers also took silver medals in the men’s individual sabre category A (Chan Wing-kin), men’s team foil (Chan Wing-kin, Chung Ting-ching, Hui Charn-hung and Wong Tang-tat) and women’s team epee (Chan Yui-chong, Fan Pui-shan, Justine Ng and Yu Chui-yee).
 
Wu Tung-sang won the bronze medal in the men’s archery individual compound open.
 
Mr Tsang said: “I am proud of the excellent performance of our athletes who have won six medals today. I am deeply impressed by their exemplary participation and sportsmanship.”
 
Hong Kong has so far won 25 medals at the games.
