The Land Registry recorded 8,618 sale and purchase agreements for all building units in November, up 0.7% on October and up 82% year-on-year.
The total consideration for sale and purchase agreements in November was $71.2 billion, up 7.8% on October and up 139% year-on-year.
Among the sale and purchase agreements, 6,739 were for residential units, up 2.1% on the previous month and up 138.5% year-on-year.
The total consideration for residential units was $61.6 billion, up 13% compared with October and up 196.3% year-on-year.
The public made 454,788 land register searches during the month.
