The Government will do it best to minimise service interruption after Asia Television (ATV) stops broadcasting, Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So says.
He was speaking today after ATV’s liquidator decided to lay off its staff.
He said Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) will launch its television broadcast around March 10 and thanked its staff for their efforts to take over, given the difficulties involved.
He said the Government will ensure RTHK has adequate resources to take over.
