Financial Secretary John Tsang says the 2016 Policy Address is extremely comprehensive covering many areas, and he hopes the community embraces it.
Speaking to reporters today, Mr Tsang said the policy blueprint contains economic and livelihood initiatives in technology, housing and education, and has responded to the needs of different sectors of the community.
He said he will give full financial support to implement the measures, as he has done in the past.
Noting the global economic uncertainty forecast for the next year, he said he will map out policies to maintain Hong Kong’s competitiveness and financial stability in the Budget to be delivered next month.
