Government bills and fees can now be paid using e-Cheques with the launch of the Pay e-Cheque portal today.
Each e-Cheque can be used to settle a maximum of 10 government bills from the same department and of the same bill type, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer said.
Bills and fees which can be settled at the Pay e-Cheque portal include general demand notes, tax demand notes, business registration fees, Tax Reserve Certificates, and stamp duties.
