The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer today invited proposals for information and communications technology, or ICT, projects to develop applications and solutions benefiting small & medium enterprises.
Under a new round of the ICT enhancement programme, industry associations and ICT bodies are encouraged to submit proposals for a one-off sponsorship.
The office has earmarked $3 million for the 2013-14 programme, and will select three projects.
It has sponsored 16 projects under the programme for 12 business sectors since its launch in 2004. Projects have included website and application development, and IT skills enhancement. More than 10,000 participants from SMEs have benefited from the programme.
The deadline for submissions is August 9.
