Financial Secretary John Tsang today called on the Ministry of Commerce and then made a day trip to Tianjin.
 
Mr Tsang met Minister of Commerce Chen Deming, and then visited Tianjin and met with Executive Vice Mayor Cui Jindu.
 
Mr Tsang attended a Tianjin Municipal People's Government seminar to learn about the city's financial, logistics, high-tech and modern service industries.
 
He also visited the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall and met with Hong Kong people living in Tianjin before returning to Beijing, where he had dinner with other Hong Kong people.
 
Tomorrow, Mr Tsang will meet Beijing officials in charge of Hong Kong affairs on financial and monetary matters.
