Environment chief to visit Seoul

Secretary for the Environment KS Wong will pay a three-day visit to Seoul tomorrow to see how Hong Kong can learn from the Korean experience in waste management, including waste reduction at source, recycling and waste-treatment facilities.
Mr Wong will visit waste charging and food-waste recycling systems facilities and source separation, recycling and treatment plants.
He will also call on Korea's Ministry of Environment to learn about its vision, mission and strategies for waste management, and visit a local green social enterprise to explore developments in this field.
He will return to Hong Kong on April 5.
