Chief Secretary Carrie Lam visited Central & Western District today to inspect the MTR Island Line western extension and the Central Police Station Compound.
Mrs Lam rode from Sai Ying Pun MTR Station to Kennedy Town, seeing the stations' facilities and decor.
She then met with Central & Western District Council members to discuss a host of community issues, before visiting the Central Police Station Compound to see how the area has been revamped.
The revitalisation project conserves and rejuvenates the heritage site of the former Central Police Station and other facilities, to provide a cultural space by integrating heritage, contemporary arts and leisure facilities.
