CE meets Sichuan Governor

Chief Executive CY Leung met with Sichuan Governor Wei Hong at Government House today.Mr Leung said the nation is pressing ahead with the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, adding that Sichuan enjoys a strategic location and is an important transport hub, which could provide huge development potential and opportunities for co-operation between Hong Kong and the province.
He also noted Hong Kong, as an international finance and trade centre, can act as a "super-connector" and complement Sichuan's "attracting investment" and "going global" strategies.
