Howard Cheung has won the Eastern District Council Nam Fung Constituency by-election held yesterday with 2,383 votes.
The other candidate, Lee Ching-har, got 1,494 votes.
At the close of polling at 10.30pm last night, 3,915 of the 7,911 registered electors of the constituency had cast their votes, representing a turnout of 49.49%.
