Peter Yu wins Islands District seat

Peter Yu was declared the winner in the Islands District Council Tung Chung North Constituency by-election yesterday, with 1,330 votes.
 
The other candidates, Leung Siu-tong and Juliana Cheung, had 1,299 and 57 votes.
 
The election ended at 10.30pm last night. Of the 6,639 registered electors, 2,704 cast ballots, representing a 40.73% turnout.
