Chief Executive CY Leung presented honours and awards to 280 recipients at an annual ceremony at Government House today.
Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma, Stephen Lam, Wong Yan-lung, Justice Syed Kemal Shah Bokhary, Peter Woo and Lui Che-woo received the Grand Bauhinia Medal.
Among the other award recipients, 16 received the Gold Bauhinia Star, and 34 received the Silver Bauhinia Star.
Eight received the Distinguished Service Medal for Disciplined Services and the Independent Commission Against Corruption, and 51 received the Bronze Bauhinia Star.
Meanwhile, 41 people were awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for Disciplined Services and the ICAC, 61 the Medal of Honour, 45 the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service and 18 received the Chief Executive’s Commendation for Government/Public Service.
