The final registers of electors for 2011 were released today with a record high of 3,560,535 electors registered for the geographical constituencies.
The Registration & Electoral Office said these registered electors are eligible to vote in the District Council election in November.
There are 634,922 electors on Hong Kong Island, 454,091 in Kowloon West, 577,687 in Kowloon East, 1,010,190 in the New Territories West and 883,645 in the New Territories East.
For the functional constituencies, 243,142 electors are listed in the final register. The final register for the Election Committee subsectors contains 249,554 voters.
Records of more than 293,700 geographical constituency electors, about 3,000 functional constituency electors and about 3,300 Election Committee subsector voters have been updated in the final registers.
