Shum Ho-kit wins Yuen Long DC seat

Shum Ho-kit  was declared the winner in the Yuen Long District Council Shap Pat Heung North Constituency by-election yesterday, with 1,828 votes. The other candidate, Cheng Yin-ping, had 966 votes.
 
The election ended at 10.30 pm last night.  Of the 10,846 registered electors, 2,823 cast ballots, representing a turnout rate of 26.03%.
