Testing compliance checks done

The Government today completed joint enforcement operations at two buildings in Tuen Mun and Tsing Yi, which were earlier included in compulsory testing notices.

 

At Block 3 of Marina Garden in Tuen Mun, staff deployed by the Inland Revenue Department, Police and the Department of Health checked 171 people’s test records and found that eight of them violated the compulsory testing notice.

 

For the operation carried out by the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department, Police and the Department of Health at Block 7 of Villa Esplanada in Tsing Yi, four out of 358 people failed to comply with the notice.

 

A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was issued to a total of eight people.
