Separately, 215 imported cases were detected.

Furthermore, three residential care homes for the elderly and one for disabled people logged four virus cases involving their residents.

In addition to reporting that six more patients passed away in public hospitals due to the coronavirus, the Hospital Authority registered six more critical patients, bringing the number of patients in critical condition to 37.

Due to a number of positive cases, 72 specified places are included in a compulsory testing notice. It also covers four specified premises in Tin Shui Wai and Shau Kei Wan where some sewage samples tested positive for the virus.

The Government will reopen the mobile specimen collection stations at Ap Lei Chau Estate in Southern District, Lei Muk Shue Estate in Tsuen Wan, Rhine Garden in Sham Tseng and Hung Fuk Estate in Hung Shui Kiu tomorrow.

Since there were positive sewage test results with relatively high viral loads in several areas of Yuen Long, Wong Tai Sin and Southern districts, the Housing Department and respective district offices will distribute COVID-19 rapid test kits to relevant residents as well as cleaning workers and property management staff working there.
