The Government today announced that nine preliminary positive COVID-19 cases were found in the restricted area in Yuen Long.

It made a restriction-testing declaration to cover Hung Lok House of Hung Fuk Estate yesterday, requiring people to undergo virus tests.

The compulsory testing exercise ended at around 11am and about 1,450 people were tested.

Government staff visited households in the restricted area and will follow-up on those which did not answer the door.

Meanwhile, the Centre for Health Protection will follow up on all the preliminary positive cases.
