1 imported COVID-19 case reported

September 21, 2021

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating one additional COVID-19 case involving a man who arrived from France.

A total of 42 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.

As four schools have reported outbreaks of upper respiratory tract infection and influenza-like illness, the schools or their specified levels are covered in the compulsory testing notice. Those who have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course would be taken to have complied with the requirements set out in the notice.

The centre reminded those linked to Hong Kin House, Tsz Hong Estate in Tsz Wan Shan to undergo testing in accordance with the compulsory testing notice tomorrow. A mobile specimen collection station will be set up at the open area outside Hong Kin House for those subject to compulsory testing for free.
