7 imported COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating seven additional COVID-19 cases involving patients who arrived from the US, Bangladesh, Japan, France and Iran.

 

Meanwhile, as Qatar Airways flight QR818 arriving from Doha, Qatar on July 18 had four passengers on board confirmed with COVID-19 by arrival testing, the Department of Health has prohibited the landing of the airline's passenger flights from Doha from today until August 2.

 

A total of 15 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, including 14 imported cases and one import-related case.
