3 imported COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating three additional COVID-19 cases involving three men who arrived from the UK.

 

A total of 54 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, including one local case with an unknown infection source and two import-related cases.

 

The centre also reminded specified people linked to Wan Hang House, Wan Tau Tong Estate in Tai Po to undergo testing in accordance with the compulsory testing notice on July 5.

 

The Government will set up a mobile specimen collection station at the open area outside Block A (Yat Wing House), Yat Nga Court in Tai Po tomorrow to provide a free testing service for people subject to compulsory testing.

 

The service period of four mobile specimen collection stations will be extended to July 11. Starting from tomorrow, the mobile stations at King George V Memorial Park, Kowloon and Hankow Road in Tsim Sha Tsui will only be open to people who are subject to compulsory testing.
