Chief Executive Carrie Lam today presented honours and awards to 220 people during the 2020 Honours & Awards Presentation Ceremony at Government House.

The ceremony is being held for three consecutive days.

Four people received the Grand Bauhinia Medal from Mrs Lam, including Legislative Council President Andrew Leung, the Executive Council Non-official Members Convenor Bernard Chan, renowned philanthropist Chan Tung, and real estate and construction entrepreneur Hui Wing-mau.

Twelve people received the Gold Bauhinia Star, four were awarded the Gold Medal for Bravery, 16 the Silver Bauhinia Star, seven the Silver Medal for Bravery, 14 the Distinguished Service Medal for the disciplined services & the Independent Commission Against Corruption, 36 the Bronze Bauhinia Star, and eight the Bronze Medal for Bravery.

Meanwhile, 45 were given the Meritorious Service Medal for the disciplined services & the ICAC and 74 the Medal of Honour.

The 2020 Honours List was issued on October 1.
