10 COVID-19 cases recorded

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 10 additional COVID-19 cases, taking the number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong to 5,097.

 

Among the new cases, nine are imported while the source of infection in the other case remains unknown.

 

The case of unknown infection source involves a Thai tourist who has stayed in Hong Kong since March and tested positive for the virus before planning to return to Thailand.

 

Her places of residence while in the city include a guest house in Tsim Sha Tsui and two hotels in Kwun Tong.

 

The imported cases are from the UK, France, the Philippines and Dubai.
